Designs for the protagonist’s ship in space friends. Each provides a different aspect of the game I wanted to capture for the main character to try and deliver an iconic visual that players could associate with the originality of the game. DESIGN I- An attempt at a more heroic ship type. DESIGN II- A ship with more edge and grit to counter the whimsical nature of some of the other characters. DESIGN III- A bucking bronco of a star fighter trying to capture the uniqueness and artistic style of the universe. DESIGN IV- A rogue’s ship, sleek and simple with an aim to be a quick digest.
