Misty Costume Comps

This is previsualization work for a friend of mine working on a 'Heroes for Hire: Atlanta' short film.

His film engages with a lot of aesthetics ranging from: Neo noir, to 70s Kung Fu, to blaxploitation. Hist takes on the characters inspired from Marvel comics are a fun mix of modernizing these aesthetics, and I enjoyed working on the characters.

These costume comps for Misty were a lot of fun. My friend had a great mood board and a clear vision for the aesthetic. When I learned about the mechanical arm I was excited to try some different options. For the most part he wanted a bulkier look: something that could be 3D printed, but I wanted to try out the 'Gold Tattoo' option as well in comp 7. (You never know if they're gonna go for the unique one, and if it doesn't work out- definitely an idea I will keep in my back pocket)
