Heroes

The player can construct a party of three heroes before embarking on their adventure. Heroes are separated into four categories:
- Warriors are strength-based heroes typically proficient in medium and heavy weapons with more lives.
- Rogues are speed-based heroes typically proficient in light and medium weapons with more skills.
- Sorcerers are magic-based heroes who collect souls to power spells from their spellbooks. They cannot use physical weapons unless magic-based and can swap out spellbooks between encounters.
- Specialists are heroes who can be high in any stat, and proficient with any weapon types. What makes them unique is their ability to move into an alternate status. Turning their card can activate a passive ability that often helps the whole party. (They cannot attack in this alternate status)

Heroes have their own color palette. If there were a sequel to the Curse of the Arachne, we hope that heroes could play interchangeably between each story and not be confined to a particular adventure's palette.
