Alonza Ship

As the ALONZA trek across the stars seeking special types of root for their cultural celebrations, they plant Home-Trees in their spacecrafts to power and guide them. The stronger and older the trees get, the larger the ships: ranging from three passengers to hundreds.

This ship design started as a mere bubble structure. It quickly became an enormous vessel for hundreds of ALONZA with orbiting fleets of pods that could aid them in their journey. For the purposes of the character DEBU, an ALONZA champion: a smaller ship was needed as well. It was brought down in size and the concept of the home-tree was added to power the ship from within. At this step I t reached a final design, only to be revisited months later.

The following designs took many little steps in reaching their ultimate form: the addition of weaponry, the refinement of the engines, an additional tail, fishlike fins for the engines, a revolving turret around the bubble, and finally the raising of engines to provide a better 3D design. Mach 8 of the ALONZA ship is aculmination of patience, problem solving, and mecha-organic engineering
